Josie R is the mother of numerous outstanding foals including Royal Jive R who sold for $15,400 at the 2012 Gold Coast auction Queensland. Ryans have retained a full sister to Royal Jive R for the breeding program. The foal due to Josie R later this year will also be a full brother or sister to Royal Jive.
Josie R is a magnificent type of mare with huge elastic and airborne paces as can be seen in the photograph. Josie R is by Jive Magic who won arguably the biggest and most important Grand Prix held in Australia each year – the Sydney CDI.
Josie R is out of Anky who in turn is by the FEI stallion Ilkay. Ilkay was a very fancy Dutch stallion imported into Australia by Val D’Agent. Ilkay has, with limited opportunity, sired some very impressive competition horses. Anky’s grand-dam Alpha II was herself an FEI level dressage horse with the then teenager but now Olympian, Kristy Oatley.
Josie R also has a full brother who is performing at one-star level in the eventing world and showing great promise with professional rider Sam Fasher.
Josie R is a beautifully bred young broodmare who already has outstanding progeny on the ground. Josie R has a live foal guarantee to Regardez Moi. Regardez Moi is the most winning dressage stallion ever in Australian history, having won more than 40 Grand Prix dressage competitions. A wonderful broodmare opportunity.
